This is a romance with food, and with a mysterious woman visitor, adapted from the classic 1930s cookery book shows why de Pomiane was a man in a hurry. A BBC2 series of six programmes from 1995, made long before Julie and Julia, this is both much shorter and really shows you how to cook.
