Nella seconda metà degli Anni '60 in Italia, oltre alla tendenza Beat e alle cover cantate in italiano di celebri brani di artisti prevalentemente inglesi, vi fu chi, come la Jolly Records, importò alcuni artisti francesi, spesso consegnandoli ad un successo di pubblico e popolarità ancor maggiore che in patria.
La comparsa del 'fenomeno-Hardy' in Italia risale addirittura al 1963. Solo un anno prima, ebbe un esordio fulminante e fortunatissimo, quando il suo primo singolo "Tous les garçons et les filles" fu trasmesso in televisione la stessa sera di una diretta elettorale presidenziale: questa fortunata esposizione la portò da un giorno all'altro a godere di una inaspettata popolarità che, unita al
fascino della giovane cantante, la elevarono immediatamente a idolo degli adolescenti dell'epoca.
"Tous les garçons et les filles" è qui incluso e intitolato "Quelli della mia età", insieme a diversi altri brani importati dal suo repertorio francese e cantati in italiano.

The appearance of the 'Hardy movement' in Italy dates back to 1963. Just a year before, she had an instantaneous and fortunate debut, when his first single "Tous les garçons et les filles" was televised on the same night of a presidential election event: this exposed her to millions of people, and from one day to another gave her an unexpected popularity that, combined with her great charm, raised her immediately as a new youth idol.
