The title of this film is "Mane Course." That's m-a-n-e, not main. People who love to travel and find great food and drink will savor this show exploring wine production in southern France ... during a fun adventurous horseback riding tour of the countryside. Your host is restaurateur and art curator Jelynne Jardiniano, author of the book "Restaurant from Scratch." In the early 2000s Jelynne helped spearhead the rejuvenation of the now-thriving arts district of downtown Jersey City, NJ when she launched her business, L.I.T.M., which combined a contemporary art gallery with a bar and restaurant that bridged the divide between gourmet quality food and a casual dining atmosphere, and became a nexus for the cultural movers in the city across the Hudson from Lower Manhattan. In this lighthearted but detailed documentary of her working vacation, directed by Armando Blandon, Jelynne combines her cowgirl riding enthusiasm with a comprehensive investigation of the latest in the Bordeaux vicinity's haute cuisine.
