Johnny Hallyday sings live with a great rocking version of a US hit song "Somethin' Else" by Eddy Cochran. This early version is sung in French,

Born Jean-Philippe Léo Smet on 15th June 1943 in Paris, He was a French rock 'n' roll and pop singer, with hit records sung both in English and French but was never widely known outside of France. He was also an actor in films.

His career lasted a long 57 years, He won 18 platinum albums, and sold more than 110 million records . Truly one of the worlds best selling singers. He died on the 6th December 2017 aged 74.
He was made Chevalier (Knight) of the Légion d'honneur in 1997.
