Here's a beautiful Rumba rhythm of a classic French love song "Solenzara" by Enrico Macias. Enrico Macias, a Jewish-French international singer/musician, was born in 1938, in Algeria, who has also recorded his songs in Spanish and Italian. Enrico Macias was also impressively successful in Japan in the 60's and early 70's.

In November of 1981, Enrico Macias was awarded the international recognition, the title of "Singer of Peace" by the former Secretary General of the UN, Kurt Waldheim, after Macias had donated his royalties on the song "Malheur à Celui qui Blesse un Enfant" to Unicef.

"Solenzara" was Enrico's hit single in 1967. This song was also recorded by the famous Tino Rossi [1907-1983], a French born singer/actor and one of the great romantic idols of his time. "Solenzara" is one my most favorite songs from Enrico Macias. "Paris Tu M'as Pris Dans Tes Bras," "L'amour C'est Pour Rien," and "Compagnon Disparu" are also my very favorite songs from Enrico Macias.

Mr. Pham Duy, another living legend of the music and entertainment world of Vietnam, also wrote a beautiful Vietnamese version for this song, titled "Nắng Xuân." It's not a translation of the French lyrics. Mr. Pham Duy gave the song a whole new story-line; of course, he kept the original music unmodified.

In this video clip, the sceneries of the beaches (just the beaches only, not the ones with the lovers) are the actual beaches of Solenzara. ~WhiteLibraTexas~
